Privacy policy

When you place an order, we receive:

• your name, shipping address, and email
• what you ordered, and what you paid

We never receive your full card number, expiry, or security code. Those go directly to Stripe and are never held by us.

If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can help you.

To take payment, make your order, ship it, answer questions about it, and keep the records Canadian tax and business law requires.

Three companies, each for one purpose:

• Stripe — payment processing. Receives your payment and contact details.
• Printful — printing and shipping. Receives your name, address, and what you ordered, because they put the parcel in the post.
• Netlify — hosting. Handles the request that serves you this page.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your cart is kept in your own browser's local storage so it survives a refresh; it stays on your device and is never sent to us until you check out.

If we use analytics, it is a cookie-free, privacy-preserving service that records page views in aggregate and cannot identify you individually.

Stripe, Printful, and Netlify are international companies and your information may be processed outside Canada, where other governments could lawfully access it. Your order is printed and shipped from Mississauga, Ontario.

Order and payment records for as long as tax and business law requires, currently six years in Canada. Correspondence for as long as it is useful to help you. We delete what we no longer need.

Under Canadian privacy law you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to hello@ontariio.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
